HI, may, many thx for this awesome overlay
Recently, i've noticed a problem: the Zone completin assistant doesn't recognize map, it always shows UNKNOWN and the window is blank
Can't you help me?

Hi there! Few things you can try: 1. If GW2 is running with Administrator privileges (which happens if the game performs an update), the application won't have access to the map/position data. Try restarting GW2 and make sure you are NOT running it as Adminstrator, or, run the GW2 PAO as administrator. 2. If that doesn't fix it, you may need to repair your GW2 client. To repair the GW2 client, you'll need to add the -repair command-line argument to a shortcut. See wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Command_line_arguments#-repair for more info. |

I've done both things and Zone map completion still is UNKNOWN
offtopic: i've seen soem of teh spanish translatiins are quite literal, if you want i can try to translate it (i'm from Spain)

All maps don't work, or only some "special" maps like SW, SouthCove... ?

Any chance you can post your log files? Using a site like pastebin.com/ works great if you don't want to register to post the file themselves. Regarding you question about the spanish translations, I would LOVE to have someone do some real, human translations. Check out gw2pao.boards.net/thread/32/looking-translators for more info. |

Turns out this is the same issue observed by fhom. It was a problem in the library I use to access the API. The primary developer fixed it, so expect a 3.1 build soon with the fix.

I'm having a similar problem with the map completion assistant not displaying anything aside from "Unknown" as the zone name. The WvW tracker functions similarly (no display, just says unknown). In the WvW world selection settings there are NO server options listed in the drop down box at all. World Event tracker seems to be working perfectly fine.

Figured out my problem was due to firewall not allowing the program. All is working well now, viewing the log file really helped to see what was going on  |
